Many thanks to Jim Colletti and theSPACE for hosting this event, my gratitude to Adam Smith for performing live, sharing his sensitive and inspiring music.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of fine art at theSPACE supports the Teen Lifeline, the Mary Fisher CARE Fund, Release the Fear, Actors Theatre and the Scorpius Dance Theatre.
Thank you to Bryan Zerr, of KnowComplaints.com, my Palm Springs connection, for his loving support and for providing a beautiful setting to share my art in Palm Springs for the first time. It was a success and I hope to return soon.

July 23, Sedona, AZ "In the Footsteps of Mary Magdalene: Women Living Her Message."
8th annual Mary Magdalene Celebration on Saturday, July 23, 9AM-3:30PM, at the Sedona Creative Life Center.
Margaret Starbird, internationally renowned author and Magdalene scholar, will be the keynote speaker and will set the framework for the messages of Mary Magdalene for women today. In discussions with her we selected 7 messages she will touch on in her presentation as it relates to Mary Magdalene. Each speaker will speak about personal spiritual journeys through the lens of a particular topic.
Barbara Litrell, chair of the planning committee and force behind this growing movement says, “Our goal is to inspire and empower women in their personal and spiritual lives and to call them to be the sacred vessels filled with spirit that they are, to use their gifts to serve and hold sacred each other and the planet. Each year our focus on women and spirituality has been enriched by new information and insights. This year’s program will truly unite women across all ages and many spiritual traditions.”
7 messages have been selected, each speaker has been asked to speak about our personal spiritual journeys through the lens of your particular topic. I have the honor of speaking about Compassion.
$30 includes lunch. All are welcome. To reserve your space, call Barbara Litrell, 649-0135, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or visit their webstie at www.marymagdalacelebrationsedona.com.

“Self Discovery Thru Art: Learning to Live Intentionally” at the OMEGA Institute, Rhinebeck, NY, Fall 2011
Through hands-on art projects, journaling, meditation, and discussion, we cultivate the practice of living consciously and make discoveries about ourself and the impact of living mindfully and with intention.
Notes on the Spiritual Journey …
One of my guiding principles is to “Be the change.” You want to see more love in the world, love more. You want there to be more patience, more understanding, be more patient and understanding, more kindness, simply be kind … in the words of Nike, “just do it.”
Please visit my galleries both online and in person. If you are in Sedona, visit Goldenstein Gallery for the 1st Friday Gallery Tour the first Friday of each month.
Art inspires ... let it move you!
Please forward this email to anyone you feel might be delighted to receive it …
Thank you. Until next time …
Peace and Blessings, Shey
